What are we looking for?

For our team in Sofia we are looking to hire: Test Automation Quality Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse requirements and identify functional scenarios to ensure optimal product quality

  • Create manual and automated tests using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Playwright to validate functionality, performance, and reliability

  • Clearly describe and track defects in the issue tracking system (e.g., JIRA), including detailed steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and severity

  • Suggest software functionality and quality improvements through collaboration with developers and product managers

  • Recognise opportunities and adopt innovative technologies to enhance QA processes

  • Actively participate in Agile team meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in automation testing for web and/or mobile applications 

  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript)

  • Experience with QA automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Playwright)

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Solid Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and QA processes

  • Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with Windows PCs, Android, iOS, or macOS devices 

  • Excellent English communication skills

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus
