What Are We Looking For?

We’re looking for a hands-on SEO Strategy Partner to lead and execute the organic growth strategy for a global, multi-locale SaaS business.
This is a contractor role with full ownership - you will define how we win in both traditional search and AI-driven discovery, and work closely with our in-house content, product, and engineering teams to deliver measurable results.
What You’ll Do

Own SEO strategy & prioritization Build and execute a clear approach for identifying and prioritizing topics based on commercial impact, including new products and markets. Lead a refresh-first strategy to grow existing rankings.
Create ready-to-write content briefs Deliver high-quality SEO briefs covering search intent, SERP analysis, content structure, internal linking, schema, and metadata.
Lead technical SEO execution Run full audits and translate insights into prioritized, developer-ready actions (indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data), with post-release validation.
Own international SEO (30+ locales) Ensure accurate hreflang setup and scalable performance across all markets.
Optimize internal linking Improve authority flow from high-ranking pages to high-converting pages across locales.
Build authority (white-hat only) Drive editorial link acquisition - no PBNs, paid links, or low-quality tactics.
Win in AI search Develop and execute a practical approach for earning AI Overview / AI search citations and tracking visibility.
Own measurement & reporting Track rankings, traffic, conversions, and AI visibility (GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush or similar); revenue attribution is handled by our in-house team. Deliver clear monthly reporting and quarterly insights.
Requirements

Proven experience owning SEO strategy end-to-end (ideally for SaaS, multi-locale websites)
Strong technical SEO expertise: indexation, Core Web Vitals, structured data, hreflang
Experience with AI search optimization and measuring visibility in AI results
Track record of editorial, white-hat link building only
Hands-on experience with GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush (or similar tools)
Strong analytical mindset with ability to turn data into clear priorities
Clear communicator who can align content, product, and engineering
Open to a short-paid pilot project before a longer-term agreement
