Motion & Video Designer (Full-Time / On-site or Remote)

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a freelance Motion & Video Designer to create high‑performing visual content for two of our flagship products: Talk & Translate AI Translator (iOS, Android) and Oxford Dictionary (iOS, Android, Windows).
Your work will support user acquisition, engagement, and brand visibility across global digital channels. You will produce mobile‑first video assets, including short‑form ads, longer performance‑oriented videos, UGC‑style edits, App Store promotional content, and light in‑app motion such as splash screens and onboarding animations.
You should be able to produce UI‑focused animations, UGC‑style edits using provided footage, hybrid videos combining real‑world elements with UI overlays, and AI‑generated concepts to support rapid creative iteration.
Responsibilities:

Create video concepts and multiple variations
Produce and adapt videos across formats (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9)
Iterate based on performance insights and testing data
Suggest new creative directions for Meta, Google Ads, AppLovin, TikTok, and other channels
Collaborate with the marketing team on creative concepts and campaign ideas
Requirements:

3+ years of experience in motion design, video editing, or creative production for digital products, mobile apps, or advertising campaigns
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Animation, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required)
Experience producing mobile app or SaaS video content
Proficiency with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and motion tools such as Rive or Lottie
Strong motion design and editing skills
Ability to independently develop creative concepts and produce multiple variations efficiently
Experience using AI tools for editing, voiceovers, scripting, or asset generation is a plus
Understanding of short‑form video performance and what drives engagement
Ability to film and produce simple UGC‑style content is a strong advantage
Comfortable working in a high‑output, performance‑driven creative workflow
Extra credit for:

Experience with performance marketing creatives
Familiarity with App Store promotional video guidelines
Ability to storyboard or sketch concepts quickly
Knowledge of localization workflows
