MSDict Optimized for iPad

San Diego - Mobile Systems today is pleased to announce that the MSDict mobile dictionary format has been enhanced for iPad. The first dictionaries specially enhanced for iPad are the PONS Compact and Standard bilingual series. Within the next month the full range of dictionaries for iPhone will be optimized for iPad.
The MSDict iPad enhanced version offers a new two pane user interface that effectively utilizes the whole screen area and makes the dictionary searching and word definition browsing more convenient than ever. The iPad version also offers different view modes for the device portrait and landscape screen rotations to ensure the efficient use of the work space in both view modes.

The MSDict dictionaries for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch are available at the Apple App Store under Reference and Education categories. Already registered MSDict users for iPhone or iPod Touch who own an iPad will be able to upgrade to the new optimized versions for free.
